FREE training familiarisation weekend at Forster  - All Welcome!

Escape the city for ultimate weekend of adventure THIS WEEKEND with the first course familiarisation sessions for the Anaconda Adventure Race at Forster taking place on Saturday and Sunday July 12 and 13th.

What better way to spend the weekend than paddling beneath awesome ocean cliffs and on picturesque lakes, running along remote beaches and through pristine forests, or mountain biking along flowing single track offering million dollar coastal views. Swimming – well, ah, yeah it might be a bit cooler than normal but don a good Zoot wetsuit and you’ll be as warm as toast (we promise!).

Its all set to take place at Forster this weekend amidst the friendly, non competitive environment of a free course familiarisation session that is open for anyone and everyone to attend. Basically organized as a group training session, the famil weekends are designed to lead potential competitors over the race course so you know what to expect on race day, to meet a few people and get in some good training. All further details and schedule for the weekend can be found here.

Last year the Forster leg of the Anaconda Adventure Race certainly had the best atmosphere, highest enthusiasm and community feel out of all the races and with a stunning course to boot it really is an event not to miss and the famil weekend is a great way to get ready for it.

If you can’t make it this weekend then a second famil will be held on August 2nd and 3rd before the race itself on August 30th and 31st. For more info visit www.rapidascent.com.au or contact Christie christiesym@mac.com
